My journey to developing and launching For the Love of Details has been lifelong. I’ve always had an innate sense of organization and an inherent need to step up and take the lead in any situation. I was known as the “bossy” kid in kindergarten. I can now look back and confidently say that I was just exercising my natural born tendencies to take charge and execute a plan! While I was very successful, I floated through my education and professional career in corporate feeling as though I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up.
With years of experience planning and coordinating in many different capacities, it wasn’t until my very own wedding that my creativity bloomed, growing the roots of For the Love of Details. My wedding was a Pinterest dream come true, with all of my details personally curated and crafted. It was very meticulously planned with all of my bases covered… or so I thought.
It wasn’t until it was too late, the day of to be exact, that it dawned on me the only missing piece to a year and a half’s worth of my heart and soul, was a Day of Coordinator. I was missing that one central person, who knew every detail I had worked so hard to plan, to be there and make sure it was all executed amongst all of my vendors the way I had envisioned, so that I could just be the Bride. The foundation for becoming a professional Event Planner lies within this realization.
Fast forward 7 years and here I am today – a husband, 2 sons, 1 dog, and the best clients any creative event planner could ask for. I can be found in several places on any given day, whether working in my home studio on decor or building items for my clients’ events, in my Red Bank office space in planning mode or meeting with clients, at a hardware or craft supply store, visiting venues, meeting with other vendors, or working a client’s event doing set up/break down or coordination. Every day is different than the day before! I thank all of my clients, past, present and future, for trusting me with their details and giving me the opportunity to create a gorgeous event for them.
I am extremely passionate when it comes to designing, styling and creating decor and other details for a truly spectacular event. My vision is for my clients to trust that together with my team of some of the most amazing coordinators, we will not rest to produce their event beyond expectations, and for our brides especially, to not miss out on that one central puzzle piece on their big day.
